Hello Dancers,
Class on tuesday starts at 2.45pm.
Only 10mins grace given.
With the upcoming assessment, please set aside about an hour or so, to prac on your routine and techniques.
If you need the music to go home and prac, please drop me an email. (get it from Jovin or Debbie.)
If you or anyone in the dance club you know, does not have access to the computer at home, please let Jovin know, so that i can come out with sth.

Hello Dancers,
Tmr, 10/04/2008, Dance prac will commence at 2.30pm.
Only 10mins grace will be given and by 2.40pm anyone reaching late would have to do for me 50 standard pushups.
Also, for the benefit of those who were not around for the last class,
Take note that if you are not properly attired for classes (Eg. comfortable t-shirt & trackpants/dance pants), either you go home and get your attire or else, you will not attend my class and will be deemed as absent from class, thus if your school decides to place you into detention class because of your absence, you are to attend it.
If you are late because you are not properly attired, you will receive a punishment of 25 pushups and 50crunches which you will do after the class before you leave.
Dance Assessment
Your Dance Assessment would be held on 18/04/2008.
You will be tested on techniques:
1) Isolation
2) Dance techniques
3) Choreographed routine

Hello there ya'all !
hahas its been a long time since ive used the blogspot way of blogging. hahas
ANYWAY.
just wanted to come in to post an entry on dance clips that you all might be interested in viewing.
BETTER WATCH BEFORE YOU EXAMS ALL START! ((: hahas
like i mentioned before, Dance is just general term to classify movements through music. There are many genres of dance, and sooner or later as you take dance into a career, you'll like to specialise in a particular genre. so here's a few genres (:
Popping
This is JRock for AJ. hahas guy did it for his gf (who's also a dancer). i watched this and is electrified by the amount of control he has as well as how prominent his popping hits are. hahas if you want to know what's popping all about, this video would show you how. similarly, if you happen to pop by Oschool to learn popping, im sure you have heard of the amazing Popper Ben. he did a video called "Experimental Media". its two songs combined together, and in order to actually watch and experience the entire video, you need to plug into your earphones. He uploaded it on youtube, but it doesnt really give a very fantastic effect, so i recommend that you go straight to the website here to check it out (: You wont be disappointed!
Ballet
This Polina Semionova. She's a ballerina from Russia and an amazing one. at the age of 18 years old she was INVITED to be the principal of a prestigious ballet school in russia. hahas im amazed at the grace she has when she dance this routine. aspiring ballet teachers, she's something man!
Locking
here's the famous Hilty & Bosch doing what they do best, LOCKING! Locking's a very funky fun fun routine that just requires you to not just know the steps but also perform it in a very funky fun fun way! anyone wants to take up locking? ((: hahas
so these are the few genres for this entry, the next time i post, there will be others.
The next few clips are kid dancers. check them up yo!
